A unique quantitative survey with healthcare professionals
Healthcare professionals are at the heart of healthcare. Their decisions and the information they use as a base for those decisions have a profound effect on the lives of patients – and of course many businesses. Decision makers in public bodies, institutions, the pharmaceutical industry, and other suppliers, can all benefit from a better understanding of physicians and their needs.
Patients are taking more responsibility for their own health and are rapidly becoming a true healthcare resource.
In cooperation with the Finnish Medical Association (Lääkäriliitto) and several Finnish universities, Kaufmann Agency developed the IMED research concept. Kaufmann has planned, designed and produced IMED study of Finnish physicians together with its partners since 2008.
Valuable insight and trend analysis
The unique survey covers over three thousand leading physicians. The anonymized data has revealed trends in health economics, information seeking behavior, use of digital tools, time management, changing responsibilities, new influencers and much more. This has given Kaufmann unique insight into physicians and the factors that affect their work and decision-making.
Bright future for healthcare through resource re-allocation
The role of the patient has been transformed. Patients are taking more responsibility for their own health and are rapidly becoming a true healthcare resource. Future IMED studies will focus on understanding the changing behavior and needs of patients around Europe.
IMED is designed to be scalable for pan-European implementation.
